It is designed to provide our families with clear information about the health care provided before placement, what we expect from new owners, and what to do if a significant health concern arises after your puppy comes home.

Our Commitment To Every Puppy

We care deeply about the puppies we raise.

Before a puppy leaves our care, we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the puppy is healthy and ready for placement based on their age and individual circumstances.

Where applicable, puppies may receive age-appropriate:

• Veterinary examinations

• Vaccinations

• Deworming

• Parasite prevention

• Health monitoring

• Identification

• Routine developmental observation

The specific veterinary care provided to each puppy will depend on their age, development, medical history, and veterinary recommendations.

Relevant records available for your puppy will be provided as part of the placement process.

Independent Veterinary Examination

We strongly recommend that every new owner arrange an examination with a licensed veterinarian shortly after receiving their puppy.

Your veterinarian should review the puppy’s overall health and establish an appropriate ongoing care plan.

This examination is important because it gives you an independent assessment of your puppy’s health and provides an opportunity to discuss:

• Vaccination schedules

• Parasite prevention

• Nutrition

• Growth and development

• Training

• Exercise

• Spaying or neutering

What Our Health Guarantee Covers

Our health guarantee is intended to address significant health conditions that were present or developing before the puppy left our care, subject to the terms of the individual sales agreement and applicable law.

A qualifying condition must generally be supported by appropriate documentation from a licensed veterinarian.

The condition must be distinguished from normal puppy development, temporary adjustment issues, accidental injury, or conditions resulting from the puppy’s environment after placement.

Because every medical situation is different, each health concern will be reviewed individually.

What Is Not Covered

A puppy is a living animal and no breeder can guarantee that a dog will never become sick, injured, or develop a medical condition during its lifetime.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, our health guarantee does not cover conditions or problems resulting from:

• Accidents or injuries after placement

• Neglect or improper care

• Inappropriate nutrition

• Obesity

• Lack of veterinary care

• Failure to follow veterinary recommendations

• Parasites acquired after placement

• Infectious diseases acquired after leaving our care

• Environmental exposure

• Abuse or neglect

• Behavioral issues

• Training difficulties

• Normal puppy development

• Teething

• Growth-related changes

• Allergies that develop after placement

• Conditions caused by external factors

• Elective procedures

• Routine veterinary expenses

• Vaccinations or boosters required after placement

This list is not intended to replace the specific terms of your purchase agreement.

Genetics, Growth & Development

Rottweilers are living, growing animals.

Their adult appearance and characteristics cannot be predicted with absolute certainty.

Factors such as genetics, nutrition, exercise, training, environment, socialization, and veterinary care can influence development.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee:

• Exact adult weight

• Exact adult height

• Exact appearance

• Exact coat characteristics

• Specific temperament

• Future working ability

• Show performance

• Breeding performance

• Particular behavioral traits

We can provide information about the puppy and their parents based on what is known to us, but development continues long after a puppy leaves our care.

Your Responsibility As A New Owner

A health guarantee works best when both sides take responsibility.

Once your puppy comes home, you are responsible for providing appropriate care throughout their life.

This includes:

• Providing appropriate food and fresh water

• Maintaining a safe living environment

• Following recommended vaccination schedules

• Providing appropriate parasite prevention

• Scheduling regular veterinary examinations

• Following veterinary recommendations

• Providing appropriate exercise

• Providing training and socialization

• Monitoring changes in behavior or health

• Seeking veterinary attention when necessary

We strongly encourage owners to maintain regular veterinary care rather than waiting until a problem becomes serious.

If You Discover A Health Concern

If you believe your puppy has developed a significant health problem, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may ask you to provide:

• Your puppy’s name

• Date of birth

• Purchase or reservation information

• Description of the concern

• Date the concern was first noticed

• Veterinary examination records

• Diagnostic results

• Treatment recommendations

• Veterinary invoices or estimates where relevant

Please do not delay necessary veterinary treatment while waiting for a response from us.

Your puppy’s immediate health and wellbeing should always come first.

Veterinary Documentation

For health-related claims, we may require written documentation from a licensed veterinarian.

The documentation should clearly identify the puppy, describe the diagnosed condition, and provide relevant medical findings.

Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to understand the condition and determine whether it falls within the applicable health guarantee.

We may also request permission to communicate with the attending veterinarian regarding the relevant medical information.

Pre-Existing Conditions

If a veterinarian determines that a qualifying medical condition existed before the puppy left our care, we will review the matter according to the terms of the applicable health guarantee and purchase agreement.

Not every condition discovered after placement necessarily existed before the puppy left our care.

That is why veterinary documentation and timing are important when evaluating a health concern.

Health Guarantee Remedies

If a documented condition qualifies under the applicable health guarantee, the available remedy will depend on the circumstances and the terms agreed upon at the time of purchase.

Depending on the situation, this may include an appropriate replacement arrangement, another mutually agreed solution, or an applicable refund where required by the agreement or applicable law.

We will discuss the available options directly with the affected family.

Our goal is to handle legitimate concerns fairly while protecting the wellbeing of the puppy.

No Guarantee Can Replace Veterinary Care

Our Health Guarantee is not a substitute for ongoing veterinary care or pet insurance.

Even a puppy that leaves our care healthy can become sick or injured later in life.

Unexpected veterinary expenses are a normal part of responsible dog ownership.

We encourage every family to establish a relationship with a trusted veterinarian and consider appropriate pet insurance or an emergency veterinary fund.

This Health Guarantee is provided for general informational purposes and should be read together with the specific purchase agreement and health documentation provided with your puppy.

The final terms applicable to a particular puppy are those contained in the written agreement between Loyal Rotties and the buyer.

Where applicable law provides rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded, those rights remain unaffected.
