Returns & Refund

Our Puppies Are Family, Not Merchandise

At Loyal Rotties, we understand that welcoming a puppy into your home is a significant decision.

A Rottweiler is not something you simply purchase and return when circumstances change. They are a living companion who deserves stability, patience, and a permanent home.

For that reason, our refund and return policy is designed around two priorities:

Protecting our families and protecting our puppies.

We want every puppy to go to a home that is prepared, committed, and genuinely ready for the responsibility of raising a Rottweiler.

BEFORE YOU RESERVE

Take Your Time

We encourage every prospective family to ask questions before placing a reservation.

Learn about the puppy.

Learn about the breed.

Consider your lifestyle.

Consider your available time, living environment, finances, and long-term ability to care for a Rottweiler.

Our team is available to answer questions and provide information about our puppies so you can make an informed decision.

We would rather help you decide that a puppy is not right for you than have a puppy enter a home that is not prepared.

RESERVATION DEPOSITS

Holding Your Puppy

When you place a reservation deposit, we remove that puppy from general availability and begin planning for their future with you.

Because that reservation prevents us from offering the puppy to another family, reservation deposits are generally non-refundable once the puppy has been reserved.

Before placing a deposit, please make sure you are comfortable with your decision and have had an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

If a specific exception applies, it will be discussed with you directly before any refund is issued.

CHANGE OF MIND

Plans Can Change. Puppies Still Need A Home.

We understand that life can sometimes change unexpectedly.

However, a change of mind, change in personal circumstances, change in housing, schedule, finances, or family situation does not automatically qualify for a refund.

If you are no longer able to take your puppy home, please contact us as soon as possible.

Our priority will be finding a responsible solution that protects the puppy’s welfare.

Depending on the circumstances and stage of the process, we may be able to discuss alternative arrangements.

IF WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE YOUR PUPPY

Your Confidence Matters To Us

There may be rare circumstances in which we are unable to complete a placement.

For example, circumstances involving the puppy’s health, development, transportation, or welfare may require us to change the original arrangement.

If Loyal Rotties is unable to provide the puppy you reserved, we will communicate with you directly and discuss the available options.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • Selecting another available puppy

  • Transferring your reservation to a future litter

  • Receiving an applicable refund

Any applicable refund will be handled based on the specific circumstances of the reservation.

PUPPY HEALTH CONCERNS

Your Puppy’s Wellbeing Comes First

We take the health and wellbeing of our puppies seriously.

Before leaving our care, puppies receive age-appropriate veterinary attention and documentation relevant to their individual circumstances.

We provide families with the available health information and records for their puppy at the time of placement.

Once your puppy arrives home, we strongly recommend scheduling an appointment with your veterinarian as soon as reasonably possible.

Your veterinarian can perform an independent examination and establish an appropriate ongoing care plan.

If you have a health concern after bringing your puppy home, contact us promptly.

The sooner we know about a concern, the sooner we can work with you to understand what happened and determine the appropriate next steps.

RETURNING A PUPPY

A Return Is A Last Resort

We do not encourage families to treat a puppy return as a conventional product return.

A puppy is a living animal, and returning one requires careful consideration of their welfare.

If you find yourself in a situation where you genuinely cannot continue caring for your Loyal Rotties puppy, please contact us before making any arrangements to surrender, rehome, sell, or transfer the puppy to another party.

We want to help whenever reasonably possible.

Depending on the circumstances, we may discuss options for safely returning the puppy to us or identifying another appropriate placement.

Please never abandon a puppy or place them in an unsafe situation.

Your first step should always be contacting us.

NO UNAUTHORIZED TRANSFERS

Please Talk To Us First

If circumstances change and you can no longer keep your Rottie, we ask that you contact Loyal Rotties before transferring ownership to another person.

This allows us to understand the situation and, where appropriate, help identify a responsible solution.

Our goal is not to make the situation harder.

Our goal is to make sure the puppy ends up somewhere safe, stable, and loving.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Transportation Is Different From A Puppy Return

Transportation fees, delivery expenses, travel arrangements, and other third-party transportation costs may be separate from the purchase price of the puppy.

Once transportation arrangements have been confirmed or services have been provided by a third party, those costs may not be refundable.

Any applicable transportation refund will depend on the specific circumstances and the terms of the transportation provider involved.

Please review your delivery arrangements carefully before confirming transportation.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Refunds are generally not provided solely because:

  • You changed your mind after reserving a puppy.

  • Your housing situation changed.

  • Your schedule changed.

  • Your family circumstances changed.

  • Your financial circumstances changed.

  • Your landlord or housing provider does not permit the breed.

  • You underestimated the time or cost involved in raising a Rottweiler.

  • The puppy is not behaving as expected during normal adjustment or training.

  • You decide that the puppy is not the right personality match after taking them home.

Rottweilers are intelligent, powerful, energetic dogs and require responsible ownership, training, socialization, veterinary care, exercise, and long-term commitment.

We encourage every family to understand these responsibilities before reserving a puppy.

CONTACT US FIRST

If Something Isn’t Right, Talk To Us

We do not want a family to feel alone after bringing home a Loyal Rotties puppy.

If you are experiencing a problem, have concerns about your puppy, or are struggling with the transition, reach out.

Sometimes a situation that initially feels overwhelming can be resolved with better guidance, a change in routine, additional training, or simply time for the puppy and family to adjust.

And when a situation genuinely cannot be resolved, we would rather have an honest conversation and work toward a responsible solution.

Our puppies deserve that. And so do our families.

OUR COMMITMENT

At Loyal Rotties, our relationship with you does not end when your puppy leaves our care.

We want to build trust before the reservation, communicate clearly throughout the process, and remain available as your Rottie begins life with you.

Our puppies are raised to become companions, not commodities.

That is why our refund and return approach is built around responsibility, communication, and the welfare of every dog we place.

Because once a Rottie becomes part of your story, we want that story to be a good one.

Loyal Rotties

A responsible beginning. A lifelong companion. A family for life.
